  Maya Author: Karan Kapoor Pages:53 ‘Maya’ by Karan Kapoor is a book that revolves around Maya and Rudra. Rudra is very confused about his feelings for Maya and his friends too feel the same and try to make him understand the same. Through this story we get to see how sometimes it might be difficult for a partner to express himself/herself but it is the responsibility of the other to understand him/her. Why is it that they are facing so many problems in the relationship? Will they be able to overcome the difficulties that they are going through. To know read ‘Maya’. My Thoughts: It is a short story which can be completed in one sitting. I loved how the author has successful brought up so many emotions in this story.   The characters are relatable. Rudra who is confused and wants to give up this relationship whereas Maya really wants to try her best. The emotions the characters depict can actually be felt throughout the book and I must say the characters are well developed even though

  The Dreaming Reality Author: Noor Anand & Karan Kapoor Pages: 280 ‘The Dreaming Reality’ by Noor Anand & Karan Kapoor is a book that revolves around Ridhima and Rihansh.  The story begins when Rihansh ’s mom hear a news wherein she finds out how a boy commits suicide due to some other children ragging him. This makes a huge impact on her and she decides not to send him back to his school. Soon, he joins a school in Delhi but doesn’t get good grades and his mom decides to enroll him in a tuition. Rihansh doesn’t like tuitions and is of the view that it is just a waste of time. But finally he had to give up and enroll as per his mother’s wish and here he meets Ridhima who is his teacher. Soon, they both fall in love with each other but Ridhima is suffering from a mysterious disease which makes her dreams come true. In her recent dream she see’s Rihansh getting killed in a car accident. What is this strange disease? Will Ridhima’s dream come true? To know read ‘The Dreaming Real
