The murder is done in such a way that everyone is shocked and the dead body too is not identified by anybody. The police are in turmoil to get their hands on the person who has committed this crime but during this investigation there are many mysterious things and shocking revelations that come to the front. The story begins in the period 1501 where we get to see the meeting that was arranged by Javi the bartender between Columbus and Vasco Da Gama and the conversation that they have. Moving ahead in the story we get to know the characters which us a brief idea about their background and the fact that they are on a search for something.   Voices Beneath Our Waves Author: Dhaval Radia Pages: 81                   ‘Voices Beneath Our Waves’ by Dhaval Radia is a book that revolves around a rich man named Raghu Deshpande, his wife Maya, his father and yesteryear underworld gangster Vinayak Deshpande also known as Baba, then a coconut seller named Anna and his daughter Gutthi. The story begins with Vinayak Deshpande aka Baba taking over an ancestral property from a real estate owner when he gets the news that a baby girl is born. Then we are taken over to several years later where we get to see a lovely bond being shared by Anna and his daughter Gutthi. Gutthi was adopted daughter of Anna and he always used to worry about who her parents are but he used to love her like his own child. Anushkaa is a passionate girl who wants to achieve great things in her life and she is dedicated to her. Ayush is a really sweet guy for whom it was love at first sight when he saw Anushkaa. But, Ayush always used to think too much about everything and Anushkaa too was in a relationship with Sahil and hence they could never really share what they felt about each other. But there was someone who was not liking it and then one Samir was bullied and physically abused by Nakul’s classmates.   L. I. T. – Lost in Translation – a poetry chapbook Author: Himanshu Goel Pages: 32                   ‘L. I. T. – Lost in Translation’ by Himanshu Goel is a collection of 26 poems which contains words from the author’s native language. The poems are short but convey very deep meaning and revolve around various themes of life which most of us sometimes contemplate on. I liked the choice of words that the author has made and the way the poems revolve around each of these words. Some of my favourite poems are as follows: ·          Rimjhim ·          Lamha ·          Muskurahat ·          Sukoon ·          Manzil Each of these poems has such deep meaning that every reader will find some of them to be close to themselves like the poem Manzil which conveys that each person has his or her own destination which nobody else can climb but you as a person are destined to climb.
