‘Maya’ by Karan Kapoor is a book that revolves around Maya and Rudra. Rudra is very confused about his feelings for Maya and his friends too feel the same and try to make him understand the same. Through this story we get to see how sometimes it might be difficult for a partner to express himself/herself but it is the responsibility of the other to understand him/her. Why is it that they are facing so many problems in the relationship? Will they be able to overcome the difficulties that they are going through. To know read ‘Maya’.


My Thoughts:


It is a short story which can be completed in one sitting. I loved how the author has successful brought up so many emotions in this story.

 

The characters are relatable. Rudra who is confused and wants to give up this relationship whereas Maya really wants to try her best. The emotions the characters depict can actually be felt throughout the book and I must say the characters are well developed even though it is a short story. 


The narration is done nicely. The title of the book and the cover page are apt to the plot of the book. 


Overall, it was really a beautiful book which would surely touch the readers.
