 Den of Death

Author: Saurabh Pant

Pages: 156

‘Den of Death’ by Saurabh Pant is a collection of poems which revolve around Corona Virus and how it has affected life during this pandemic. The author has given us the whole story in the form a poem of how this virus came into being and how it affected the whole world. The confusion and the chaos created by this virus and how the entire world was confused in finding how this virus came into being and how to get the situation under control. What I liked about this book:

·         The facts that the author has given in the form of photos and data

·         I loved how author has expressed different emotions, stress everyone was going through these poems

·         While reading the poems the readers can surely feel the stressful situation of when all this begun and how still the world is trying their best to back to normal.

Language is simple and lucid. The title of the book is apt to the whole concept of the book.  There are many books that came in the times of Corona most of them stories but it is very unique of the author to write poems on the whole situation.

I really enjoyed reading these poems and would surely recommend them to all.
