‘She Still Loved Me’ by Sunil Kumar is a story that revolves around Vinod and his journey to become an IAS Officer. Over the story we get to see how ambitious Vinod is and how his family has a big contribution to his success. Vinod’s father was always motivating him for higher and making all the sacrifices so that his son can achieve greater heights in life. Vinod was a really bright student and over a period of time of his studies he meets three girls who play very important part in his life later on. To know Vinod’s story read ‘She Still Loved Me’
My Thoughts:
The plot revolves around the life of Vinod and how he goes about achieving his dreams. We also get to see how people change a lot once they achieve everything and how ego can damage our relationships with our closed ones.
The characters are well introduced and relatable. However, there were times when I was really felt sad and sometimes angry the way Vinod was behaving and about his attitude towards others later on in life. After reading about Vinod there’s one thing that readers can learn and that is we should always value the people we have in our life and definitely make some time for them however, busy we get.
Language is simple and lucid and the narration is well done. The cover page and the title of the book are apt to the plot.
Overall, it was a very light read and someone’s who wants to read something which can be read in one sitting can go for this book.
