SHE: Screw Silence! Author: Reecha Agarwal Goyal Pages: 160 ‘SHE – Screw Silence!’ by Reecha Agarwal Goyal is a collection of micro-tales. At first I need to mention that it is a very beautiful book with a beautiful cover page. After reading this book we all can somehow relate to the micro-tales. Even in this 21 st century we do get notice gender bias, gender stereotype. Some of them are so imbibed in us that we don’t we notice that we directly or indirectly get to be a part of this stereotype and bias. There are times when we our doing things which we don’t like. At times we think what the society will think. But in this process we forget our true selves. There are rules made by the society which most of us follow blindly without thinking who made them and what is the true meaning behind them. The situation sometimes gets so worse that girls are even told how to laugh, what to wear, how to behave and for boys it is boys should not cry. ...
