Made in China Author: Parinda Joshi Pages: 352 ‘Made in China’ by Parinda Joshi is a story about Raghu Mehta who is a struggling business man. He has hundreds of ideas but none succeeded. Being from a middle class family he is sceptical about venturing into other business. Hence, he eventually starts working in his father’s shop but the condition gets so worse that he is unaware of how make ends meet. Until one day his friend Dev proposes him to come to China to get into a new line of business. He has his own doubts and is very emotional about leaving his father’s shop. But finally, after constant push from his wife Rukmini and friend Dev he leaves for China. But life has different plans for Raghu and instead of getting into consumer goods business he gets stuck in the black market trade of Beijing. Will Raghu be stuck in this black market trade?
