Rama and the Palace of Evil Author: Liana Yadav Pages: 314                 ‘Rama and The Palace of Evil’ by Liana Yadav is a story that begins with Evelyn being kidnapped by a ten headed monster. Maahir’s mom receives a phone call and she calls him to tell her the news about his friend Evelyn missing and that he is being called at her place for questioning. On reaching Evelyn’s place Maahir informs the officer that he is Evelyn’s boyfriend and expressed his shock on her missing. After the interrogation Maahir is encountered in a very weird or out of question situation where he learns that Evelyn’s missing is not a missing case but someone has actually kidnapped her.   But why would somebody kidnap Evelyn? Ltd.                 ‘Say It In French’ by Asha Chowdary is a book that revolves around three Indian girls ‘Laila, Anjolie and Nidhi’. These three girls want to learn French and each of them have their own reasons to learn the same. We get to see that each character in the book were strangers and this French class brings them together. Mehboob Murderer Author: Nupur Anand Pages: 282 ‘Mehboob Murderer’ by Nupur Anand is a story that takes place in Mumbai on a rainy Saturday night in September. In a city which never sleeps a mysterious murder of six people takes place at a famous Parsi café. Our protagonist Inspector Abbas who is committed to his job but hates his promotion which recently received for solving a case in record time. He’s been allocated to solve this case and with the mysterious murderer still roaming around, the case becomes an instant hype in media and the unwanted political pressure and the unachievable deadline forces the police to close the case as soon as possible. A similar killing has occurred at Navi Mumbai based  Bar. Is this the same murderer who killed people in Navi Mumbai? Why would somebody kill 6 random strangers? The Soft Target Author:  Kalyan Nanda Pages: 212 Publisher: Notion Press ‘The Soft Target’ by Kalyan Nanda is a book about a boy named Mohan who continually suffers the wrath of God, though no fault of his he continually suffers all that comes his way and  challenges God to do whatever he can do to make him suffer, nothing would stop him. Does Mohan win against God? The story begins by narrating the life of Mohan who has a rare disease from birth due to which he cannot speak up his mind, but fully understands  everything. In fact, he is very intelligent and always tops his school and college. He even secures AIR  2nd Rank in IIT entrance exam which was held just a week after his parents died in a car accident.
