Tarikshir: The Awakening
‘Tarikshir: The Awakening’ by Khayaal Rajvi Patel is that begins with Valikesh who is a warrior from Hanuman’s army he has entered the Ravan’s castle with the aim of finding some treasure. But soon strange things start happening and he is scared and lost. In all this process he breaks an urn but to his surprise he finds a gem from the broken urn. Then we get to see the story of Rudra Pratap Chauhan who had to take the responsibility of his kingdom due to the sudden demise of his father Raja Ravindra Pratap Chauhan. From here the story takes pace there are many ploys that have taken, many secrets from the past that will be revealed. To know more read ‘Tarikshir’
My Thoughts:
The plot is well developed,
unique and captivating. I must say that it is a perfect blend of mythology,
history, fantasy and thriller. Each page has a plot twist and will surely hook
the readers right from the first page itself.
The characters are well
developed and each one is described in detail. Each character has their own trait
and they are portrayed very well.
Language is simple and lucid. The narration is done beautifully.
The cover page is interesting and will surely make the readers curious to read the book. The title of the book is apt to the story.
Overall, I would say that I really enjoyed reading this book and would surely recommend it to all.
