                ‘The Other Side Chronicles – The Impending War’ by Chimany Rastogi is a story about a girl named Tina from Kolkata. Tina has been diagnosed with brain tumour. She has been struggling with her life but always tries to keep herself happy. Then we have Mohan who comes into Tina’s life and plays an important part in her life. Tina’s sufferings don’t end here but begin when she meets some strange people from other world. To know more read ‘The Other Side Chronicles’

My Thoughts:

The plot is unique and interesting. It kept me glued till the end of the book.

The language is simple and lucid.

The world building is nicely done. The past and the present are nicely described and we get to see how things went on.

The book cover and the book title both are interesting and would surely develop a curiosity in the minds of the readers. The title is apt to the story.

The narration is done excellently.

The characters are well-developed and their journey makes it all the worth. Each character is described in such detail that it seems as if we know them from a long time.

Overall, I liked reading this book.
