Aham | Book Review

Aham
Author: Saurabh Thakur

‘Aham’ by Saurabh Thakur is a mythological fiction is based on how the Universe was created by Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. We get to see a new clan named Rekhtys who is at war with Djinns, Daayans, and Demons to save humans.

The plot of the story is very unique and well developed. The war between the clans is described in such a manner that the readers will feel as if it is going in front of their eyes.

The characters are well developed and their personalities can be seen while reading the book. Each character is trying their level best to accomplish tasks and to win over the other clan and while all this is happening we get to see their different personalities.

The narration will keep the readers on the edge all through the book. The fight scenes and the various mysterious facts are described excellently. There are plot twists throughout the book and each page has something to offer to the readers.

Language is simple and lucid but some might find it a bit complex or difficult.

The cover page and the title of the book is apt to the story.

Overall, I enjoyed reading this book a lot and would surely recommend it to someone who’s looking forward to read mythological fictions.

My Rating: 4.5/5
