       'Nine' by Vineet Singh Hukmani is a collection of 9 short stories. Through these 9 stories the author has shown us some of the pros and cons of technology. How technology is meant to ease our life and not to take control our life. The urge to be the best of whatever we do but what if instead of our hardworking we depend on science and technology to excel? This is the first time ever that I have read a book wherein we get to listen to songs based on the stories. The songs were motivational and it was altogether a new experience for me.

           Language is simple and lucid. It is very difficult in a short story to create a character but through these stories we get to meet a whole lot of characters and the readers can surely relate to them.

            The book cover is interesting and suspenseful. The title of the book and the book cover is apt to the stories.

           Overall, it was a interesting read.
