        'The Calling: Unleash Your True Self' by Priya Kumar is a story that revolves around Arjun who is facing troubles professionally as well as personally. Arjun was on his way to Shimla for work when all of a sudden life takes a drastic change and he meets with an accident. Arjun is helplessly waiting for death to come over but life has again planned something different for him. He suddenly meets a Sadhu who advices him to take a journey to Hemkund Sahib. So, finally Arjun decides to go on the directed path by Sadhu and is about to discover or we can say he is about to Unleash his true self. My Thoughts:

        I like how the author through this story has showed us how Karma plays a very important role in our life. The fact through her books Author has always made the readers ask certain questions to themselves which really helps us to understand the true gist of the story and also ponder on what we think and feel.

         Characters are well developed and it was definitely a very enlightening to see Arjuns journey towards enlightenment. Through these characters we get to learn a lot like we are normally trying to blame our life or someone else but it is truly in our hands.

          Language  is simple and lucid. The narration and the pace of the story is also nice.

          The title of the story justifies the plot. The book cover is apt to the plot where a person belonging to a corporate world takes this journey to the Himalayas is truly worth reading.

          Overall, I enjoyed reading this book a lot and I must say that this book will truly teach a lot to the readers.
