What are the ways in which we can save our environment? What choices will be help us and our environment? To know read ‘What Does It Mean to Be Green?’

My Thoughts:

The plot is written in a manner which the readers will get a message on what and how we should be using our resources which are scarce in nature. It is very important to bring awareness among children about the importance of sustainability since a small age so that they follow it throughout their life.

Author has nicely depicted the curiosity of children through this story. We get to see how children want to know and understand things by asking questions and as adults it is our responsibility to answer them to the best possibility which the older sister does.

Illustrations are beautiful and will catch the reader’s attention. There are concepts such as recycling, wave energy, wind energy, etc. which would be very difficult to visualize for small children but through these beautiful illustrations this too has been made easy for the young readers. I definitely loved the uniqueness for these beautiful illustrations.

Overall, I really loved reading this book and would surely recommend this to all especially parents who can imbibe this most important topic on their children from a small age.
