 Teen Trilogy

Author- Monisha K Gumber

Pages-638

'Teen Trilogy' by Monisha K Gumber is a book that revolves around a teenage girl named Tara and her best friends Megha and Dolly. The book is divided into three parts as follows:-
  • Part 1-This part revolves around Tara who is currently facing or rather struggling with problems that most teenagers go through. And she is trying her best to overcome those on her own. The question is will she be ok with the decisions she takes or will she regret them later?
  • Part 2- This part revolves around Megha. Megha is a girl who is great at Studying, is beautiful and is probably good at everything but there are things that she is not happy about. Why is Megha unhappy when everyone admires her and desire to be like her?
  • Part 3- This part tells us about Dolly. Dolly is a girl who likes getting attention. She likes wearing cute dresses and likes getting attention from boys. She seems to be very lively and cheerful. But is she really what she shows to people around her? To know the stories about these three friends read ' Teen Trilogy'!
My Thoughts-

Plot is realistic and we get to see the problems that most teenagers face. There are times when children really  want to talk to their parents at times like these parents should become friends so that their children open up to them and talk freely.

Characters are well developed and realistic. All the characters in the book are really beautiful and there are some real life lessons that are to be learnt from all these girls. What I really loved is the conversations that they have with each other. It gives the book a personal touch and will surely make the readers connected to them personally.

Language is simple and lucid. The narration is done excellently. Illustrations are really beautiful and make the reading even more fun as it helps us to visualise the characters.

The book cover is beautiful and apt to the plot. The title of the book is also apt to the plot.

Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book and would surely recommend it to all especially teenagers who will surely learn a lot from this book.
