‘Bitten by Love’ by Vijaya S is a story that revolves around Anu and Abhi who fall in love with each other. Anu is a simple girl who is intelligent, chirpy and the gem of the family then we have Abhi who is a smart and mature guy. Anu is very close to her family and is loved by everyone in her family especially her big brother who wants to keep her safe from everything and everyone. Anu and Abhi meet each other at their workplace and soon they fall in love with each other. All was going well with both makes promises to each other when Anu was seen with Abhi by one of her family member. Will Anu and Abhi be able to convince their family members about their feelings for each other? Will they be accepted by their family? To know read ‘Bitten by Love’

My Thoughts:

The plot of the book is very romantic and shows how two people who meet develop feelings for each other. I must say it was a beautiful and heartwarming story of Abhi and Anu who are trying their best to keep the promises that they made to each other and overcome all the problems that they have to face in future.

Characters are well developed. It was nice to see Abhi, Anu and their friends who had such a lovely bond with each other. The emotions that the characters show can be really felt by the readers. I really loved the relationship that Anu has with her mother but I also wanted to know about the relationship Anu shared with her brother Sandeep.

Language is simple and lucid. The narration is done nicely. The book cover is beautiful and cute and apt to the plot. The title of the book is also apt to the plot.

Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book and would surely recommend it to all.
