 When Broken Hearts Meet

Author: Arushi Vats

Pages: 190

‘When Broken Hearts Meet’ by Arushi Vats is a book that revolves around Avanti and Suhaas. Avanti and Suhaas both have a painful past which has left them devastated. Both are dealing it in their own way where we get to see that Suhaas is somewhat expressive but Avanti is still lost and can’t come up to face the reality.  Soon, she is introduced to Suhaas and she is a bit afraid to share her number or talk to him. She is somewhat confused by his entry into her life but at the same time there is a strong pull which makes her want to know more about him. Everything seemed to be going fine until one day due to some reasons Suhaas and Avanti stop talking to each other. What is it that happens between the two of them? Are Suhaas and Avanti destined to be together? To know read ‘When Broken Hearts Meet’

My Thoughts:

The plot is simple and it really shows us how emotions are the most important and can not only affect a person’s emotion but also confidence. The emotions & fears that Avanti is going through can be felt by the readers. I must say that the author has nicely inculcated all the feelings of friendship, relationships, love, etc. through this story.

Characters are well developed and realistic. The main characters in the book are Avanti and Suhaas but l liked how each character has a part to play in the story and that they are not sidelined in any way. The friendship that is shared by Avanti and her friends is something that everyone would want in their life.

Language is simple and lucid. The narration is done nicely. The book cover is beautiful and apt to the plot of the story. The title of the book is also apt to the plot.

Overall, I must say that this was a very emotional yet a beautiful read and I would surely recommend this to all.
