To know more about this thrilling journey of Gerua and Kally read ‘Dwandv: The Battle for the Gate’

My Thoughts:

Plot is engaging and will keep the readers eager to know what is going to happen next. Story involves the Devas and the Asuras and the war to gain the ultimate knowledge i.e. ‘Siddhi’. Then we have two friends Gerua and Kally who really want to learn Yoga and eager to search a guru who can help them to learn the same. The journey towards attaining this vital knowledge is filled with challenges which will leave the readers surprised till the end.

Characters are well developed and we get to see how determined both Gerua and Kally were to start this journey. There are many characters but each of these characters is playing a very important role in helping Gerua to reach and to discover her true self. The fight between the good and the evil is nicely depicted through this story.

Language is simple and lucid. The narration is done beautifully and it feels as if the event the struggle that the protagonist is going through is actually happening in front of us. I liked how author has linked the past and the present and I must say that the author has done extensive research about Ancient history and Yoga.

Book Cover depicts the plot and shows us the strong character of Gerua. The title of the book is also apt to the plot of the book.

Overall, I must say that this book is a perfect blend of mythology, thriller and adventure with mysterious mythological creatures.
