Diabolical Secret

Author: Mansi Narula Kashyap and Sagar Harwani

Pages: 59

'Diabolical Secret' by Mansi Narula Kashyap and Sagar Harwani is a book that revolves around two friends and a very shocking incident that affects the life of these innocent souls. We mostly ignore critical topics that children need to be aware of and out of curiosity they try to figure out things on their own which might sometimes be coming through wrong sources. Parents sometimes need to be cautious about their children and talk to them so that the child connects to the parent and opens up to him/her. All this has been nicely explained through this story by the author. To know more read 'Diabolical Secret'.

My Thoughts:

The plot is relatable and realistic. We all have been through this curious phase where we were eager to know about different things and adult things. But the reality being these topics          are mostly unanswered or ignored by every parent. The problems revolving children are excellently discussed by the author and will make the readers ponder about these things.

Characters are well developed and realistic. I liked the friendship that Vivek and  Siddhu share. They are always there for each other and care for each other just like brothers. The innocence of these kids has been nicely depicted by the author.

Language is simple and lucid. The narration is done nicely and the flow of the story is perfect. I really liked how the author has handled this difficult topic and tried to create an awareness on this very serious issue that is currently going on in our society at times. We also need to make our children aware about good touch and bad touch and what also need to make them comfortable so that they come to us and open up about their difficulty and thinking.

This was a very emotional read and I would surely recommend this book to everyone.
