My Thoughts:
The plot is well written and the journey to Badrinath and Kedarnath are written amazingly and one will feel as if we are actually travelling to the destination. I must say the author has done detailed research about meditations and the divine ways in which Arya is enlightened towards his path to spirituality. In the middle during the avalanche I thought the plot was a bit rushed as things started taking place at a fast pace.
The characters are well developed and I liked almost all the characters and all are relatable. Like Arya’s mom who is always concerned about her son and then Arya who is always curious about the path of spirituality. I also liked how Arya tries to follow his yoga routine even when he was struggling with the basic postures and also when he starts receiving these strange dreams and how he tries to connect the dots in reality.
Language is simple and lucid and the narration is well done. The pace of the story is a bit too fast at places but overall it was good.
The book cover and the title of the book are apt to the plot.
Overall, it was a interesting read and I would surely recommend this book to people who like reading spiritual and adventurous books.
