To You, With Love

Author: Shravya Bhinder

Pages:224

‘To You, With Love’ by Shravya Bhinder is a book that revolves around Sahil and Ayra. One day while shopping Sahil spots a girl and he is in a dilemma if he knows this girl. After a lot of thinking he finally recognizes the girl and is taken back to his school days when they both used to be best friends. But there is something that happens during his school times which makes him doubtful if he should approach her. This girl is no one but Ayra a shy girl who barely used to talk to anybody else except for Sahil. Sahil is eager to know about Ayra and can’t stop thinking about her. What is she doing nowadays? Should I speak to her? Will she recognize me? Finally, they both get in touch and slowly things start progressing. Sahil falls in love with her and conveys his feelings to her but there are a lot of things which Ayra has to tell. Things were good until one day something happens and life turns upside down. To know how this story progresses for Sahil and Ayra read ‘To You, With Love’.

My Thoughts:

The plot is beautiful and I liked how the story progresses for our protagonist Sahil and Ayra. I loved how the author has given us a glimpse into Sahil’s parents love story. The ending was very emotional and painful to read.

Characters are well developed and beautifully written. I loved almost all the characters but there were a few which were not likeable. I loved Sahil and his family who are always supportive to him even when he confesses his feelings for Ayra to his parents. Ayra though seems to be a shy girl as the story progresses we get to see how strong, hard working and determined she is.

Language is simple and lucid. The narration is excellent and the pace of the story is perfect neither too fast nor too slow.
The book cover is beautiful and is apt to the plot. The title of the book is also apt to the plot.

Overall, I really loved reading this story and would surely recommend it to all.

My Rating: 5/5
