My Thoughts:

The characters are very well-developed. Most of them have their own secrets and ulterior motives. I especially liked the character of Partha. He’s very intelligent but charming at the same time.

The plot is very intriguing and will surely keep the readers on edge throughout the book. One would be surprised with the complex crime scenes, the interviews that take place throughout the plot. The plot is written in such an interesting manner that one could feel that a movie is playing before their eyes.

I liked the writing style of the author. The language is simple and lucid. One would not find it difficult to go throughout the book. The pace of the book is neither too fast nor too slow which makes the book even more interesting. The writer has explained very well the plights of the upcoming and struggling actors very well. And what some of them go through when looking for work.

Overall, A Useful Death is a breath-taking thriller with lots of twists and turns and will surely keep the readers on edge till the last page. I would surely recommend this book to all those who are looking to read a mysterious thriller.

My Rating: 5/5
