There are other characters too such as Andhaka who has had a very abusive childhood and hence has turned into a horrific person. My Thoughts:

The characters are well developed and described in great detail. I loved the character of Narasimha and Prahlad. Each character has their own saying and are held responsible for their own doing. Like Holika at one time she is questioned by her own soliders for her doing and she too answers them but later on tells them to no doubt her decisions. Each character has their own positive and negative traits but the author has done an excellent job in showing what is bad and good and would surely make you think.

I loved the writing style of the writer. The writing was neither too fast nor too slow. The author has done an excellent job in showing how the war created a deep enmity between the Devas and Asuras. The author has explained the war in such a manner that it actually feels that the events are taking place in front of your eyes. The story is written in a simple and lucid language.

The overall story is written in such a manner that the readers will be on the edge of their seat to know what is happening next. It is definitely a page turner and each page brings some or the other twists and turns for the readers. I enjoyed reading this book very much and I would surely recommend it to all those who are looking to read something mythological and adventurous.

My Rating: 5/5
