Author: J Alchem

"Undelivered Letters" is a story of Aron who is a postman by profession and is shifting to some other place with his wife Sara, wherein Sara finds an abandoned bag of Aron’s which he has completely forgotten about. On checking the bag, they find that the bag has 9 undelivered letters from 20 years ago. He is very sad and grieving about the undelivered letters and is angry with himself how can he forget such an important task of delivering the letters. Aron is now left with two choices whether to deliver them now or to abandon them forever. But he chooses to deliver them to the recipients and deal with whatever the consequences are.
Here we are introduced with three beautiful stories out of the 9 undelivered letters.
The first story is about Cathy and her daughter Kara wherein Kara is missing her dad (Adam) and knows him only through the stories her mom tells her and is waiting for him to return as her mom has told her that he will be coming back soon. Adam is missing after he left for mountain trek. What happened with Adam and where is he?
The second story is about Samuel who is accused of murdering his beloved wife and the court has given him lifetime imprisonment and is sent to the mental asylum. Why is he sent to the mental asylum and what happens between Samuel and his wife that he had to murder his own loving wife or did he even murder his wife?
The third story is about a thief and the famous detective Carl. Thefts are happening in the town and the thief is no robbing all the books from the stores, libraries and even from the houses. How does detective Carl unleash the thief and the motive behind all these thefts? Who is this thief and what happens after detective Carl catches him red handed?
To know exactly what happens to Cathy, Kara, Adam, Samuel, detective Carl and the book thief read this amazing novel.
What I liked about the book:
The cover is beautiful. I liked the way the book is written first the characters are introduced and later on the stories are revealed.  The Characters are beautifully written. The plot is also amazing.

Favourite Quotes from the book:
v  “You don’t choose the novels, they choose you”
v  “It was magical to know how two people read the same book and imagined different things”
To sum it all, it is an amazing book and I am eagerly waiting for the paperback to come out soon as with more letters as mentioned at the end of the book. Everybody should read this book as the stories will surely touch you in some or the other way.
