My Thoughts:
The
plot was really engaging. The book will surely make the readers curious right
from the first page itself. It was interesting to see the journey of Jagannath
and how he describes it from a big fish in a small pond to being a small fish
in the big sea. The author has nicely maintained the mystery throughout the
book.
The
characters are well developed especially the character of Jagannath who is an
intriguing personality. I really liked the way his personality is and how during
one of the conversation with a renowned personality we come to know how down to
earth he is. I also liked Shamim’s character a lot who is very determined
towards her work and also determined to unravel the dark secrets that are
there.
Language
is simple and lucid. The narration is done in such a way that the readers will
be curious to know what is going to happen next. The cover page and the title
of the book are also apt to the plot.
Overall,
I must say it was a perfect blend of thriller and mystery and would surely
recommend it to all.
