My Thoughts:

The plot is beautifully written. I liked how the author has discussed topics such as homosexuality, rape, extramarital affairs, etc. through this story. Many people still have different views about these and its sad to see that people still look down towards others who have no fault of their own. Why is it always that the society has to blame only one person when a crime is committed and the other gets to leave even when he/she is at fault. This story will surely raise all these and many more questions in the minds of the readers but as the story moves ahead we get to see things getting clearer.

Characters are well developed and relatable. Nida’s character is bold and she thinks very differently from others which leads her to many problematic situations in the story. She doesn’t want to do things that she is doing and what she has done but sometimes it is very important to listen to our heart rather than getting influenced from someone be it a very good friend can lead us to situations which we never want to be. This is what happens with Nida.

Language is simple and lucid and the narration is done beautifully. I must say that the author has touched all the sensitive topics through this book and that too very efficiently.

The cover of the book is interesting with lots of things going on it will surely make the readers curious to know what the plot is all about. The title of the book is also apt to the plot of the book.

Overall, I must say that this was a very interesting read and all of us has something to learn through this book.
