‘The Pearl of Immortality’ by Nishi Chandermum is a book that revolves around two friends Kaspar and Xerxes. One day Kaspar and Xerxes visit an antique shop and they are curious about the magical things they discovered there. While they were busy with their curiosity about the products there they are suddenly teleported to a different world. In this world they discover the strange beings and they do many adventurous things. There are a lot of responsibilities that these boys have to fulfil and there are a lot of difficulties that they have to face. Will they be able to overcome these difficulties and save the world? To know more about this magical world and the journey of Kaspar and Xerxes read ‘The Pearl of Immortality’.
The plot is unique and I loved how the author has built curiosity throughout the book. Every page is full of adventure and will keep the readers on edge throughout the book. I must say that this book was a page turner.
The characters are well developed and I liked how they are doing everything that they can to save the world. I loved how the author has given us the physical descriptions of these characters we can literally imagine how each character is.
Language is simple and lucid. The narration is done excellently and I loved the world created by the author. The author’s imagination can be vividly seen in the world building done.
The book cover is beautiful and apt to the plot. The title of the book is very interesting and apt to the book.
Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book and would surely recommend it to all.
