A Tea Stall by the side of the Road
Author: Murad
Pages: 158
‘A Tea Stall by the side of the Road’ by Murad is a collection of 8 short stories. I simply loved the book title and the book cover where people are sitting and having their cup of tea and at the same time discussing some interesting stories. So moving on to the stories every story is interesting and the most important thing is we get to read stories which belong to different genres.
The characters in each story are well developed and relatable. I also liked how the stories are described as if the author is himself narrating it to the readers.
Language is simple and lucid and the narration is well done.
Like I said earlier simply loved the concept of the cover page and the title and I must say that they are apt to the whole concept of the book.
Some of my favourite stories are:
· Megha a forgotten love story
· The shadow man
· Scary story
· The haunted diaries
Really enjoyed reading this collection of short stories and would surely recommend it to all.
