Author: Monae Shepard
Pages: 72

‘Life After The Chair’ by Monae Shepard is a memoir of a stylist wherein the author talks about beauty industry. Author has shared how previously there were no social media platforms and how advertising was once a big task. But now with the advent of social media there are various ways in which one can opt for various modes of advertisement which can bring in more prospects for his/her business. Author has also shared various tips wherein one can plan on saving his/her money and also plan for his/her retirement.

My Thoughts:

A nice book wherein the author shares her personal experience and also gives us financial management tips which will be or rather are very important for all of us. At times we think only about our present problems ignoring the future and this book will surely help the readers to think about the future.

The book is written in a very simple manner which will be helpful to all. The book cover is simple and meaningful. The book cover and title both are apt.

I must say that this was a very interesting read wherein we get to see the authors experience and get to learn from her experience.
