                ‘The Talking Dead’ by Chandrima Das is a book consisting of four short stories which are inspired from some real life events. Each story is unique and shows us some different aspects of humans. Like in one story we can see how inhumanely behaves towards a small kid. Some of us don’t really think about others and what impact it will have on the other people and their families. The characters are well developed and relatable. Some stories surely will give the readers Goosebumps and some might make them emotional. Language is simple and lucid. The book cover and the title of the book is apt to the plot. The author has done an excellent job of portraying the real life situations and human behaviour in each of the story. Some of my favourite stories from the book are:

 

·         Déjà vu

·         Playtime

·         A Room for Two

I really enjoyed reading all the stories and would surely recommend it to all.
