‘What Your Banker Won’t Tell You’ by Vaibhav Anand is a self-help book that will surely help us all in clearing all our financial doubts. The book highlights the importance of financial planning and the advantages of investing early. The book is divided into 6 chapters and each chapter is dedicated to a particular topic wherein the author has talked a lot about what needs to be done, what is good and what is bad. I especially liked the chapter ‘On Mutual Funds’ where the author has discussed on the number of Mutual Funds available in India and one should always go ahead and do in-depth research before investing in any of them.

I must say that the book is explained in a very easy to understand format. I liked how the author has put forth the importance of savings.

The book cover is simple and beautiful. Language is simple and lucid.

Overall, I would say that the author has done a great job by explaining the concepts in such a manner that everyone can understand it.

My Rating: 5/5
