My Thoughts:

I loved the plot the author has created the suspense excellently which is maintained throughout the book. The author has also put the interrogation questions and answer format which makes the book even more interesting.

The characters are well developed and I liked Anupamma’s character a lot. She is very strong and when she learns about her husband getting arrested she quickly takes matters in her hands. I liked the conversation that Anupamma has with various other characters such as Shobhna and with her husband.

Language is simple and lucid. The narration is done nicely. I loved how each chapter starts with a picture which makes the story more alive and it is as if a movie is being played in front of our eyes.

The book cover is very interesting and actually shows how a person can be two faced which is apt to the plot of the book. The title of the book is also apt to the plot.

Overall I would say that this book is a perfect blend of love, hate and betrayal. I would totally recommend this book to all those who love to read murder mysteries.

My Rating: 5/5
