Quarantined:
Love in the time of Corona
Author: Dr.

‘Quarantined: Love in the time
of Corona’ by Dr. Mahul Brahma is a collection of 6 short stories. As we all
know that situations are so dire and with the cases rising continuously the
need for lockdown was felt by the authorities. But was any one of us or the
world ready for this all of a sudden crisis? People were and are stuck at
places with no idea of how their loved ones are doing. There are people who are
left with no jobs and took matters in hand by deciding to walk these long
kilometers to just reach their home. Many have lost lives and many of us are
still afraid even if we get viral thinking of the worse. The book ‘Quarantined:
Love in the time of Corona’ somewhat revolves around similar lines. To know

My Thoughts:
The plot of each story is unique
and well written. I must say that the author has aptly put down the feelings
and the tension that we all are experiencing right now.
This is the second book of the
author that I am reading. I have read ‘Luxe Inferno’ and I must say that I
loved his writing style. The book will surely engage the readers and make them
curious to know what is going to happen next.
Language is simple and lucid.
The book cover is simple and is
apt to the plot. The title of the book is also apt to the plot and will surely
create curiosity among the readers.
Overall, I liked reading the
book and would surely recommend it to all.
My Rating: 5/5
