Life Sutra
Author: Kumar Anu
Pages: 192
‘Life
Sutra’ by Kumar Anu is a collection of short one page inspirational stories.
Each story is unique and gives us an insight into how one should try to lead
his/her life. While doing so the author has excellently put forward a
conversation between him and different persons which makes the whole story more
interesting. It will surely guide a person on how to be happy in what you have
as some people don’t even or rather can’t even fulfil their basic necessities
which is very important for people to learn. Then we normally see people
discriminating among each other on the basis of various criteria like caste,
creed or who should do what but it is not so if everybody gets an equal chance
it is a possibility that the results can be vice versa.
I
liked the plot of each story and the moral of the story are very important for
all of us because somewhere along the path we don’t give much thought to what
we really want, our health and the only think that all we run around is
wealth/money. This has lead to many problems to us and we somehow even neglect our
family or rather can’t give our 100% to other things.
Language
is simple and lucid and the readers can easily go through the book as it is a
very short read. The conversation between two people is also well written.
The
book cover is simple and the title of the book is apt to the plot.
Overall,
I loved this book and would surely recommend it to all.
