‘Evolution Cradle’ by Dr. Charith Venkat Pidikiti is a book that consists of two stories playing simultaneously at two different places. The first story is about a group of scientists in Berlin who are conducting an experiment which was to clone a lizard with Humans so that they could cure a person who has lost limbs. Will the scientists be successful in their experiment or will it create some sort of chaos? Then we follow a story of a professor whose family has been kidnapped by some group of terrorist and he receives an absolute shock one day when he receives a parcel. Who must have kidnapped Professor’s family? What might be the motive behind to kidnap them? To know more the answer of these questions and more read Evolution Cradle.

My Thoughts:

The plot was interesting and very unique. I must say that it was very well researched by the author and we get to have a glimpse into the Vedas and see how advanced people were back then too. I loved the whole experiment that they were conducting after reading it in the Vedas.

The characters are well developed and I liked how all of them are very determined to their work. The characters are written in such a manner that we can actually get connected to them and want to see if they will actually succeed in their work or not. There is a point where I even felt bad for the professor and was emotionally exhausted after reading one particular scene.

The language is simple and lucid and the narration too is done beautifully.

The cover page is very interesting with all the symbols from Vedas/Purans and the evolution of humans. The title of the book is also very interesting and will surely make the readers curious to know what the book is all about.

Overall, I can say that this was a very interesting book and I would surely recommend it to all.

My Rating: 5/5
