A Week With Enya | Book Review

A Week with Enya
Author: Amar B Singh
Pages: 86

‘A Week with Enya’ by Amar B Singh is a collection of 24 poems. The book is about author and his eight year old daughter who is suffering from ASD. Through these poems we get to see the innocence of the eight year old and how her father regrets that he doesn’t get to spend much time with her. We can actually feel the emotions that the author is experiencing and while doing so we also to see how the author has wonderfully described love, pain, fear, ambition, etc.

The poems are beautifully written and I am sure the readers will get what the author is going through. The poems will also make the readers emotional by the end. Language is simple. The cover is beautiful and shows us the beautiful father daughter relationship. The title of the book is apt to the poems and will surely attract the readers.

Overall, I really liked the book and would surely recommend it to all especially to someone who’s looking forward to read poems.

My Rating: 5/5
