My Thoughts:
This is a debut novel
of the author and I must say that I enjoyed it a lot. The plot was crisp and
well planned. It is an intricately woven plot with many subplots and the author
has done a great work with the whole story. The story flow is perfect and very
well researched. I must say that I was hooked to the story right from the first
page.
The
characters are well developed and relatable. We all must have surely encountered
Amar Singh Chaudhary in our lives. People act greedily to be in the good books
of somebody never thinking about the consequences. This can be seen in the
story were well. The only thing that I felt that there were many characters and
it might be confusing for some people.
Language
is simple and lucid and I must say that the narration is done beautifully. The places and the situations are very well
described which makes us more involved in the story.
The
book cover is very beautiful and the title of the book is also very
interesting. I am sure people would be curious to know what the story is all
about.
Overall,
I must say that it is a very well written novel and the readers will surely
enjoy it.
My Rating: 5/5
