‘Luxe Inferno’ by Dr. Mahul Brahma is a unique book which tells us how luxury plays an important role in everybody’s life. Yes, in everybody’s life it is different for rich people or as the author refers to them as ‘Richie Rich (RR)’ and it plays a different role for the middle class. The book is divided into two parts: Part A which tells us all about what exactly is Luxe Inferno through a fictional story about a journalist named Dante who is new to this world of brand and luxury and while studying this topic for his magazine and in this journey ends up in this circle of luxury and art and Part B which tells us about the strategies and positioning that brand should do. The author has excellently explained in detail the various brand stories and the thinking process of various people when it comes to brands. To know more read ‘Luxe Inferno’.

My Thoughts:

The book is well researched and the author has explained the whole process and the thinking process of people beautifully. The plot is well thought and it actually depicts the true facts about how human tendency is and how people react to when it comes to branded goods.

The characters are well developed and we get to see how they behave and want to prove something to each other. The characters very well depict the rat race that we all are sometimes      run in.

The language is simple and lucid. The book cover and the title is very interesting and will surely want the readers to know what the book is all about.

Overall, I enjoyed reading the book and would surely recommend it to all.

My Rating: 4.5/5
