‘Ghosts of the Silent Hills: Stories based on true haunting’ is a collection of stories set in the British era. The author has excellently written the plots of the stories and I am sure that the readers will get Goosebumps while reading these stories. Imagine you have been walking on a lonely road and then all of a sudden you feel some presence behind you as if someone is keeping a watch on you. But as you turn around you see no one and then all of a sudden there it is that right in front of you with a horrendous smile. I am sure it will send shills down anyone’s spine. Such are the stories wherein the readers will surely be in for a surprise with the events that go around in these hills. To know more read ‘Ghosts of the Silent Hills’

The narrations are best and the author has described the atmosphere of the hills excellently. The part where the author has built up enough curiosity keeping the readers for a horrific surprise is the best.

The characters and their reactions to the situation is very much relatable.

The book cover is best it creates and adds to the spooky atmosphere of the book. The book title is also apt to the stories.

Overall, I really enjoyed all the stories and would surely recommend to all the readers.

My Rating: 5/5
