                ‘Dating Jia’ by Krupa Somani is a novel that revolves around Jia who is a carefree girl and for her life is all about living to its fullest be it work or party. So one day while talking to her best friend over the phone Jia meets with an accident. Since she was hurt badly the guy takes her to the hospital. While on their way to the hospital they both introduce each other and this is how she gets introduced to Aryan. As she was hurt and after Jia almost blackmailing him to take care of her Aryan decides to be with her till she is all well and gets approval from the doctor. During her recovery period she decides to install a dating app and from here starts her journey of dating boys. But during this period she experiences some uncanny and humorous situations. But there are things brewing between Jia and Aryan which both don’t want to admit to. Will Aryan be able to get through this wall? To know more read Krupa Somani.

My Thoughts:

                The plot was well written and written in such a manner that the reader will be hooked till the end to know what exactly is going around in Jia’s life. There are times when the readers will be smiling and then there are times where people will also get to get a glimpse of the different types of people one can encounter with.

The characters are well developed and realistic. There are times when the readers will be laughing and smiling with what is happening in Jia’s life and then there are some points where they will be irritated with her decisions. But I like the fact that she is a strong girl and is ready to face all the problems that life has laid down before her. These all makes the characters realistic and relatable.

The book cover is simple and is related to the story line. The book title is also apt to the story.

The language is simple and lucid which will make it easy for the readers to go through the book.

I liked the writing style of the author it will surely create a curiosity among the readers about what is going to happen next and keeps the readers hooked till the end of the book.

Overall, I liked reading the book and will surely recommend this book to all the readers.
