‘The Advisory Board’ by Hemant R Joshi is a story about Shekhar Tripathi who is already facing a lot of problems in his life. He has already lost his wife 3 months back and his business is also suffering huge loss. During this time, his car meets with an accident and hence is not in a condition that it can be used as a result he had to use a taxi for travelling. During this taxi travel the taxi drivers gives him various advise which helps Shekhar to learn many new things. We get to see how these taxi drivers turn into advisory board for Shekhar. To know more about these advise read The Advisory Board.

My Thoughts:

The plot of the story is very unique and interesting. We get to learn many new things from this book.

One should remember that life keeps on going and should not get saddened by failures and difficulties

instead they should try to work upon them and if needed we should advise from others. This advise

can be from anyone from a high authority or even a taxi driver just as our protagonist found advisor in

taxi drivers.

The characters are well developed. Loved how Shekhar strives in his life only to get past all the

difficulties and problems faced in life and achieve his goal.

The language is simple and lucid.

The book cover and title is also appropriate to the story.

Overall, I liked the book and would surely recommend it to all.

My Rating: 4/5
