My Thoughts:

The author has really worked a lot for the plot. While reading this book the readers can actually relate to what life has become for some people. We young people sometimes forget our moral responsibility towards our parents, society and only think about ourselves. The author has successfully portrayed this through his story where we the kind of life these students were leading and the result of it too.

The characters are well developed. We get to see the life of students these days and how they think that whatever they do is correct. I loved the character of Palak she is a strong girl even after going through all the problems in her life she remains firm and instead of giving up her life she decides to give life a tough fight. All the characters have made mistakes in their past life but are learning from it and trying to rectify them too.

The cover page is beautiful and the title of the book is also apt to the story.

The language is simple and lucid and the readers will have no problem at all while reading the book.

Overall, I would like to say that ‘Rape’ is a very sensitive topic and the author has excellently handled the topic and how things change and how people look at the victim. I would surely recommend this book to all.

My Rating: 5/5
