My Thoughts:

I liked the writing style of the author I must say the book is well written. The author has written the book in such a manner that it will keep our small readers on the edge. I loved the fact that the author has given fun facts in each chapter.

The plot is written very well. The author has kept the suspense till the end. I tried guessing who must be the kidnapper but the author has not given any clues. The plots and the subplots are nicely interwoven.

The characters are well-developed. I loved the fact that the pets too talk to each other and to their owners as well. Each of them is intelligent and have helped each other in every aspect. I loved all the characters but I loved Leatherback and Loro the most. The author has written some nice poems in the book.

The language is simple and lucid. There are a few words that may be a little difficult to the kids but they have been added with the intention of increasing the vocabulary. The most important thing is the author has explained the meaning of these words.

The cover page and the title of the book is apt to the whole story and theme of the book.

I must say this is a very interactive book which has puzzles, colouring pages for kids which will increase the reading habit of the kids.

Overall, this was a very fun read and every kid should have this book in their library.

My Rating: 5/5
