My Thoughts:
The story is very engaging. I liked
the journey of Gavi, his transformation from a simple innocent boy to a King
was very intriguing.
I liked the writing style of the author
it has the capability of keeping the readers guessing what is going to happen
next. The language used is also very simple but vivid which is the specialty of
the book. The readers will find it easy to go through the book.
The narration was good and the scenes portrayed were excellent. One
could actually feel as if it actually happening in front of your eyes.
The characters were well developed but
as I progressed into the book I thought that there were a lot of characters.
Due to so many characters it is a possibility that the readers might get
confused. But all had their own role to play which makes them justifiable.
The plot is very interesting and
will keep the readers engaged till the end. The writing pace was also good it
was apt as per the requirement of the scenes.
Overall, I would recommend this book
to all the historical fiction lovers.
My Rating: 5/5
