My
Opinion:
Loved the writing style of the
author. The book is written in a lucid manner and is very well researched. We
get to see the true plight of the drug addicts and how they turn to drugs because
they feel that they are worthless or trying to get out of some sadness and in a
way try to cope with the help of drugs. The main objective is to show the
readers how drugs is making life complicated and getting out of this habit is
very difficult as there are some elements in our society who don’t want such
people to get out of this and try to involve them more into drugs. But instead
of giving up on drug addicts we must continue our fight against drugs and try
to remove our youths from this vicious circle.
The book would keep the readers
engaged throughout the book and would make the readers want to know what is
going to happen ahead. The book takes a very expansive look at the topic and
also shows us the counter measure that we have for drug addicts. The author has
also brought to our notice that parents should take more interest in their
children especially during adolescent and be friends to them so that they don’t
feel neglected and can share their true feelings with them. The author has also
discussed the poor choices we make for ourselves when we say yes to drugs and
also the policies that the government.
The book is very informative and we get
to see that the answer to all the questions we have in our mind about drugs is
that we can opt to other methods and one should ask oneself when getting into
such unethical practices. And the best option is to learn to say ‘NO TO DRUGS’.
I would recommend this book to everyone
who’s looking to read a book wherein the plight of the drug addict is discussed
and one would ponder over the drug racket and how these people involve poor
and young children into this bad habit.
This was a informative book which I feel everybody should read.
