“The Girl of My Dreams” is a story about Daman who has met with a car
accident and is in coma. After coming out of coma all that he remembers is that
he was in the car along with a girl named Shreyasi. All he remembers of Shreyasi is her hazy
face, her eyes and her name. He doesn’t remember who this Shreyasi is and where
did she go? Post accident he has been diagnosed with amnesia wherein he doesn’t
remember most of the things from the accident and the events leading to it.
Soon Daman starts a blog wherein he starts writing fictional stories
about himself and Shreyasi. Very soon the blog gets famous and he is approached
by a publishing house to weave his blog posts into a book. Daman finishes writing the book but due to
pressure from his editor he had to mold the story as well as the character of Shreyasi. But somebody is not happy
with these sudden changes and then things start taking place. Daman is
constantly stalked by somebody. Who is this stalker and what does he/she wants

This novel is a romantic thriller. The book is an absolute page turner
and will hook the reader till the end. There are several plot twists which are
very good. I loved the characterization of Shreyasi she is a very strong character and can go to any
extent to get what she wants and by that I mean to any extent. The climax is also good and the end is very
interesting.
To sum it all, I have enjoyed this book thoroughly and would recommend
this book to someone who is looking to a read a romantic novel with a twist of thriller.
